Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a challenge walk which starts and ends at Horton-in-Ribblesdale and along its route walkers summit the three highest peaks in Yorkshire: Pen-y-Ghent (691m), Whernside (728m), and Ingleborough (723m) - in that order.

The total route distance is 37.5km (23.5 miles) and the total asscent is approx. 5,200 feet. Participants aim to complete the walk in less than 12 hours which is no easy task.

Kerry Maguire and a number of her colleagues will be attempting the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on the 5th of September to raise funds for the Ann Maguire Arts Education Fund.
