Who is eligible?

 

Grants of up to £500 will be available for individuals between the ages of 11 and 18, living in West Yorkshire, who have a talent in either the performing arts (including drama, singing, instrumental music and dance) or languages (including cultural immersion) and can demonstrate that their personal circumstances prevent them from fully developing their skills. 

The fund is also open for Leeds-based community groups who provide activities for talented young people meeting the criteria above. Groups can apply for grants of up to £5000.  

When should I apply?

   The fund opens for applications annually at the beginning December . We are open to new grant applications this year from the 3rd of December 2021 and the deadline will be the 4th of February 2022.

Decisions will be taken by members of a nominated panel and all applicants will be notified of the results.

 

How should I apply?

 

There are separate application forms for individuals and for groups. They can be found at www.leedscf.org.uk/grant-making. 

Applications will need to be approved by a teacher or other responsible person and will not be given directly by the individual themselves.
